Liza N. BLiza N. Burbyurby is the author of 37 nonfiction books for children ranging from biographies and science books to social issues, and four for adults, including How to Publish Your Children’s Book (Second Edition). Liza is also a ghostwriter for books about parenting, health and biographies. For a complete listclick here.

Liza has been invited to speak about her books at writers’ conferences, including the American Society of Journalists and Authors, Midwest Literary Festival, the CAPA University Annual Writers Conference, the American Association of Journalists and Authors, the Society of Professional Journalists and Wayne County Arts Alliance, as well as and numerous libraries, schools and book stores.

Liza was also the 2004 Author in Residence for the National Book Foundation at Washington Heights in New York. And she is the children’s fiction judge for Writer’s Digest Annual Contest.

She won the New York Public Library Book for the Teen Age 1996 for her book World Hunger.
